Jennifer ParkerWelcome to Garlough Environmental Magnet School!
My name is Mrs. Parker and I have been teaching since 1990. From 1998-2011 I taught at Pilot Knob STEM Magnet School and now I facilitate the magnet program at Garlough. My undergraduate degree is from Northwest Missouri State University where I majored in zoology and art with a French minor. I also attended the Graduate program in Elementary Education at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. My unique education background lends itself to Garlough's environmental magnet theme where I am the Magnet Facilitator and support our students with enrichment opportunities. I also work as a district science lead, a mentor teacher/trainer, the Talented/Gifted program and a SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) facilitator. I live in Eagan with my husband Jerry. We have two adult children, Luke and Madeleine, who both attended Pilot Knob. I am an avid world traveler, and particularly seek adventures in nature, such as shark diving and safaris. I love working with every child at Garlough and helping her/him achieve her/his personal best.
